What makes a great ad is the same thing that makes a memory. It moves you intellectually or emotionally. As a creative director and writer that’s long been my litmus test, regardless of brand, medium or channel.

As one of the founding principals of PartnersCreative and now a Group Creative Director at Deloitte, I’ve developed campaigns for dozens of businesses over the past 20+ years. I tend to like working on subjects that are complex, nuanced or even a little controversial. That focus on clarifying the complex has helped me earn business, win awards and create work that’s highly impactful, whether its aim is to generate revenue for the world’s largest consulting firm or remove a fish-killing dam just upstream of Missoula.
